Meet Your Instructor: Nick Machol

​Nick Machol is a professional investor, retired executive, board member, and advisor. He built, scaled, and sold companies—retiring young before returning to teach and invest. Now, he's a top AI trainer, delivering practical workshops that drive real change. He chairs the Executive Advisory Board at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and has been a board member since 2016.

Previously, Nick was CEO of Machol & Johannes, leading its expansion to eight states and over 250 employees before a successful exit. He also advised a concierge automotive services business as president and COO. A Colorado native and University of Denver graduate (magna cum laude), Nick started at Ernst & Young as a CPA (inactive). Beyond his professional endeavors, he enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with family.

Eligible DU Staff can use their Tuition Waiver to participate in Executive Education workshops, gaining valuable knowledge and skills for a fraction of the workshop cost. Workshops must be taken for-credit, and to receive credit, you will need to complete a short assignment at the end of the workshop.
