Lodging Enterprise Strategy: The concentration offers a comprehensive pathway into the hospitality industry, whether your interests lie in real estate, operations, or ownership. Through this concentration, students gain preparation for careers in lodging and resort operations as well as the real estate side of the hotel business, leveraging the expertise of Fritz Knoebel faculty. This concentration is designed for those aspiring to become hotel general managers, pursue corporate operations roles, own lodging businesses, or work in the real estate side of the business. Food & Beverage and Event Strategy: This concentration provides a complementary pathway into the hospitality industry, supporting students with interests ranging from restaurant entrepreneurship and hotel F&B operations to catering, event management, and large-scale meetings. We’re the only hospitality program that requires this level of international experience.
Through the University of Denver’s Cherrington Global Scholars program, you’ll have the opportunity to study at an international college or university for the same cost as a quarter at DU (tuition and room and board). This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity gives you both memorable experiences and a competitive edge in the international marketplace. You’ll gain independence through immersion in a new culture, meet people from around the world and learn global hospitality practices.
